Youth is not only a group of community that benefits from the interventions of Chetanalaya but also a powerful resource that we are depending on. The young holds the potential to break free from the shackles of poverty, unemployment, deprivation and exploitations.

About 3000 youngsters are reached from the slums and resettlement colonies of Delhi and interior villages of haryana through various awareness and civil life training programmes.

65 youth groups are formed in various intervention areas who through their regular meetings and inspired interventions, strive to transcend beyond the boundaries of caste, religion and political orientation for the creation of a new India.

Trained in theater performances and puppet shows, Chetanalaya has community mobilization teams in all the intervention areas who are now inevitable parts of community orientation and organization programmes and public education events.

Skill Development and Self Employment promotion through the Chetanalaya Community College is another flagship programme through which the youth in the slums and resettlement colonies of Delhi and Haryana villages. In 48 vocational education centers 2306 students are learning various skills through the courses affiliated to national institute of open schooling. Embroidery and fashion designing, cutting and tailoring, beautician, computer education, two wheeler repairing, AC refrigeration and electrician trainings are given to the youngsters.
